The Lions were comprehensive winners against the Macorna Tigers in round 10 of Golden Rivers league 2025 season.

Hay Lions Annual Fishing Classic was a resounding success, with a huge attendance by locals and people coming in from around the district.
There were an incredible 891 fish caught over the span of the competition, with 178 carp reeled in, 277 legal fish, 713 native fish, 277 legal native fish, four silver perch, and four golden perch (yellow belly).
