Bendigo Bank has dipped into their coffers once again, donating $60000 to the Hydrotherapy Pool Committee.

The donation is the final influx of funds the committee needed to get the project into the construction stage.

“Once again, it is because people in the community bank with Bendigo that we are able to contribute to worthy causes to benefit the community,” Branch Manager Sandra Dolan said.

“It is very rewarding for Bendigo Bank to make a difference.”

Hay Hydrotherapy Pool Committee Members Jenny Dwyer and Sally Smith were present to accept the cheque from Hillston and District Financial Services Board Members, Branch Manager Sandra Dolan, and Bendigo Bank Staff.

Jenny Dwyer expressed the heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Hay Hydrotherapy Pool Committee.

“The Hydrotherapy Pool will be a great service to the community, and this $60,000 will be instrumental in the feasibility of the project,” she said.

“With the replacement of the 50 metre pool and toddler pools scheduled for next year, the hydrotherapy pool will be constructed at that time, culminating in many revitalised amenities for the Hay community.”
